The problems the partnership wishes to address concerns the weaknesses in terms of social inclusion of populations at risk.
First, they have little or no opportunities for mobility. Secondly, they have little or no qualifications and often have had painful experiences with the formal education systems which have left them in fear of learning. Finally, due to a lack of either education or skills and competences, they often suffer from long term unemployment.
Through cooperation between private and public organisations, the partnership hopes to bring further quality mobility opportunities to adults suffering from social exclusion. Also, throughout the project, cooperation will enable the sharing of good practices on non-formal education for adults at risk of social exclusion between project partners, and other public and private organisations; the testing of these practices by adult learners and feedback to be given in order to improve those practices.
